This year's races day promises to be bigger and better than ever. In addition to last year's extensive programme there are now even more new events. These include a Community Ride For All, a 2 Mile Hospice Run, an elite Mile Running Race and the Railway Sleeper World Championships. To top it all the Penny Farthings are back. So make a date to be part of this Sports Spectacular when there's something for everyone.

The event is organised by the Horwich Carnival Races Committee and is one of the biggest events on both the athletics and cycling calendars.
